Busking Guidelines

Our vibrant Woodville Town Hall is home to concerts, performances, markets, events and community celebrations.

We are pleased to further support local artists, producers, events, venues and businesses participating in the 2024 Adelaide Fringe with a fee subsidy.

If you register an arts, food and beverage activity or event in the City of Charles Sturt you will receive:

  • An automatic $100 registration fee subsidy per event when you register via Adelaide Fringe’s AVR platform
  • Your event will be included in the promotion of Fringe events in our City, via our marketing channels

City of Charles Sturt is home to iconic live music venues such as The Gov, The Adelaide Entertainment Centre, as well as intimate historic venues such as The Lady Daly Hotel, Plant 4, Ramsgate Hotel and Woodville Town Hall to name a few.

City of Charles Sturt is also home to three recording studios, Wizard Tone Studios, Fat Trax Studios and Chapel Lane Studios.

The newest theatre venue to call our city home is Rumpus, a collective of theatre makers based in Bowden offering affordable, accessible and innovative theatre experiences.

The City of Charles Sturt welcomes busking within the City, it’s free and no permit is required provided artists adhere to our Busking Guidelines.
