Season Sporting Licences
All Sporting Clubs, Associations, Schools, Organisations or Private Entities requiring seasonal use of Council managed sports grounds and facilities are required to complete a Season Sporting Licence Application.
Online applications for Winter Season (1 April – 30 September 2024) Sporting Licences are NOW OPEN for consideration.
NOTE: A separate online application must be submitted for each sportsground being considered, and submitting an application does not guarantee licence approval.
To ensure your application is eligible, please submit this by Friday, 23 February 2024, along with any required documentation (incl. minimum $20 million Public Liability Insurance - Certificate of Currency).
Applicants will be advised of the outcome after the submission closing date, and once all applications have been assessed.

*Seasonal Changeroom Fees and Classifications
NOTE: Clubs applying for a Season Licence who are also approved to access changeroom facilities at St Clair, John Mitchell, Jubilee and Trust Reserves are also subject to a nominal changeroom fee per season (as below).
Level 1 Changeroom Facilities – Jubilee Reserve and St Clair (Oval 2) = $520 (per season)
Level 2 Changeroom Faculties – John Mitchell Reserve and Trust Reserve = $303 (per season)
Please refer to pages 49-50 of the Fees and Charges Register for more information on the changeroom fee structure and all season licence fees.
- You will need to supply the following information with your application:
- Certificate of Currency showing a minimum twenty million dollars ($20,000,000) Public Liability Insurance.
Note: Tax invoices are not considered sufficient evidence of Public Liability Insurance.

You will receive a confirmation email once your Licence application has been submitted. This will be assessed and a decision provided upon;
- confirmation of your details and required documentation supporting your application
- investigation of your proposed activity
On approval, a Tax Invoice will be provided for the Licence fees and payment must be made within the terms outlined within the Tax Invoice.
