Carmine is the Development Project Engineer, whose primarily role is to supervise and manage the construction of new public infrastructure like roads, drains, lights and paths for example, by developers. Carmine is also the Bridge Asset Manager and runs all of the Council’s bridge repairs.
Following a 12 months stint as the undergraduate Engineer in Planning and Development portfolio on a part time basis while completing his studies, he was lucky enough to successfully obtain a full time position. Following this Carmine moved into a few different dual roles between Engineering and Planning & Development. Successively he was successful to obtain his current role in Engineering.
Carmine enjoys the supportive culture of Charles Sturt, and the friendly and experienced Engineering team that that are always willing to impart their knowledge making it easy to come into work every day.
