An exciting contract opportunity has emerged for a qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team in the delivery of great customer experience to our community.
Using your professional experience along with your excellent interpersonal skills, achievement orientation and team approach, you will be responsible for the prevention, education, encouragement and enforcement of environmental health activities in our City.
Qualifications suitable for appointment under the South Australian Public Health Act (i.e. a Bachelor of Environmental Health or equivalent) and a current Driver's Licence are essential, while certification with RABQSA as a Lead Auditor in Food Safety Management Systems is desirable.
The Minister for Health and Ageing has published an approved list of suitable qualifications that afford eligibility as an authorised officer available here.
This position is offered on a full-time contract basis until June 2020 between Level 4 & 5 ($76,337 - $87,116 + superannuation), depending on experience and skillset.
