We're on the hunt for possum poo!

If you've spotted any possum poo that looks like this photo, we want to hear from you! Fill out the form below and let us know where you found it.

Identifying areas where possums currently live will help us locate potential places for habitat boxes as part of our Tree B'n'B program. By providing appropriate habitats, we can discourage possums from setting up home in roof spaces of houses and buildings. This is important, as brushtail possums in particular are becoming increasingly low in numbers.

Possum faeces are often found near the base of trees, and the black, pellet shaped droppings are around 7mm for ringtails and more than 15mm for brushtails.

Please note that we are not installing habitat boxes on private property or taking requests for installation in specific locations. If you're interested in purchasing a habitat box for your own property, details are available at the fauNature website.
