Youth and Schools Achievement Awards 2013
The City of Charles Sturt Youth and School Achievement Awards have been established to celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of young people 12-25, teachers/mentors, community organisation's and educational institution's in the City of Charles Sturt. The Awards acknowledge the important role that young people; educator's and mentors play in the community and the positive links that assist with an ongoing role of learning, aspiring and achieving in a young person's life.
There are 10 award categories in this year's Youth and Western Futures School Awards section and this year the Council is happy to announce the inclusion of Lions Club of Charles Sturt with a further 5 categories in their Youth Program Awards section. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to formally reward and acknowledge individuals, young people and learning institution's that are active in the Charles Sturt community. Nominations open until Friday May 10 2013.
The Youth and Schools Achievement Awards presentation will be held on Tuesday, 25 June 2013 at the Woodville Town Hall. Winners in the Youth and Western Futures School Awards sections will receive a gift voucher to the value of $300 and a framed certificate of acknowledgement. The Lions Club of Charles Sturt Youth Program Awards section winners will receive a $2,000 incentive and a framed certificate of acknowledgement.

Priority will be given to those projects that have taken place since June 2012.
Nominations will be assessed by an appointed Judging Panel. The more detail and supporting information assists the judges to make a well informed decision, please read the categories carefully and nominate for the most appropriate categories. A maximum of four A4 sheets can be attached along with the nomination form below.
You must complete a separate nomination form for each category for which you wish to nominate an individual or group for.
All nominees will be notified and acknowledged at the Awards ceremony and Award winners will be formally recognised at the Youth and Schools Achievement Awards event ceremony on Tuesday 25 June 2013.
Nominations close at 5.00pm Friday 10 May, 2013.
