Current Projects - Footpaths

Charles Sturt maintains approximately 930km of roadside footpaths constructed for safe and convenient walking in and along main roads, local streets and in parks and reserves.

Each year many projects are completed with the aim of improving the footpaths within the Council area.

The list below details footpath projects that are either about to commence, currently under construction or recently completed.

Sportsman's Drive West Lakes - Shared Use Path - Stage 3

Funding has been allocated toward the third stage of the 'shared use' path along Sportsmans Drive. Funding contributions have been approved from Council and the State Government under the State Bicycle Fund.
