MetSO at Woodville Town Hall
The City of Charles Sturt is pleased to continue the partnership with MetSO and there will be seven key performances at the Woodville Town Hall from September 2012 to May 2013. Performances are divided under two categories:

Tickets available at the door (no pre-purchase, cash only).
$15 Adults, $5 Children 2-12 years, Children under 2 years are free.

Miniature Masterpieces
The MetSO presents a concert of favourite and familiar masterpieces for orchestra – short in length, but big in reputation!
10 February 2013 at 2pm
Classics Declassified
Hear the sometimes secret back-story of some of the most famous works for orchestra!
Sunday 26 May 2013 at 2pm
Shades of Autumn
The MetSO plays some evergreen orchestral favourites to mark the changing of the leaves.

Ticket information: Doors open 1.30pm. Performances run between 30-40 mins.

$5 Children 2-12years, Adults and children under 2 are free

Peter and the Wolf
ABC891’s Peter Goers joins the MetSO for a performance of this children’s classic with a translation into Vietnamese!

Musical Rainbows
A special concert for children introducing the sound colours of the orchestra through music and movement.

Hallelujah! Here’s Handel!
Special guest singers and choirs join the MetSO for a concert about the life and times of Handel – the composer of The Messiah.

Carnival of the Animals
MetSO presents the great Zoological Fantasy, enjoyed by generations of children and families.

How to get to the Woodville Town Hall
By Public Transport
Bus - Route 300 Suburban Connector: alight at Stop 221 Woodville Rd. Routes 150, 155 and 157 from city: Alight at Stop 21 Port Rd.
Train - Grange and Outer Harbor Lines from Adelaide: alight at Woodville Station.
Car Parking
There is plenty of free car parking for patrons both at the rear of the Woodville Town Hall and opposite in the large car park.
Bicycle Parking
There are bike lock up areas at the rear of the Civic Centre near the Civic Library.
Wheel Chair Access
The Woodville Town Hall has disability access and facilities including a lift to the balcony.
