The Charles Sturt Library Service runs a number of programs throughout the year. Children's Book week
The theme for 2012 is 'Champions Read'.
The Library will host a variety of guest author sessions in the Libraries, and also librarian school visits, during the week of 20 - 24 August. The program is designed for primary school classes, and information will be emailed to schools shortly.

Josiah Mitton Prize
Annual award for the "best all round" student chosen from each school in the City of Charles Sturt. The award is chosen using criteria at the discretion of each school. The award ceremony occurs in November of each year at the Town Hall and celebrates the awardees achievements.
Mayoral Make-A-Book
Mayoral Make-A-Book is a fantastic and rewarding literature program for children who live or attend a school/kindergarten in The City of Charles Sturt.

School Bulletin
Published quarterly, this bulletin will help keep you informed about what's going on in the Library and out in the City of Charles Sturt for children, youth, teachers and parents. It also includes competitions, staff bios, book reviews and fun facts. Submissions from the community are welcomed.
