Henley Precinct Design Competition Pre - launch announcement

Artwork featuring 13 cast-bronze diaries inscribed with former-resident's stories, both in English and their native languages, valued at $50,000 has been stolen and destroyed in a Charles Sturt reserve by vandals. The artworks, representing 11 different nationalities including Russian, Hungarian, Polish, Czechoslovakian, English, Scottish, Irish, Cambodian, Vietnamese, Chilean and Iranian, won a commendation from the Royal Australian Planning Institute SA in 1993.
