To ensure public safety, hair, beauty and tattoo business premises are assessed by an Environmental Health Officer for compliance under the Public Health Act, 2011

Opening a new business?

If you are planning on opening or taking over a hairdresser, beauty salon or tattoo parlour, please complete the notification form and send into Council for access to our regular information.

If you have concerns about a particular skin penetration establishment and their level of infection control you are encouraged to raise your concerns with an Environmental Health Officer at the City of Charles Sturt.  Please contact our Environmental Health Department on 8408 1111.
