Artist Expression of Interest – Thermoplastic Road Art and Sculptural Works

Thermoplastic Road ArtProfessional Artists and/or teams of Artists are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to develop concepts for four thermoplastic road artwork designs and two sculptural works along Day Terrace, Croydon & West Croydon.

The artworks will form part of a program to improve user experience, and cyclist and pedestrian safety along Day Terrace which forms part of the Outer Harbor Greenway. The Outer Harbor Greenway is a significant cycling corridor which provides a continuous and attractive link between the City and Outer Harbor.

The commissioned thermoplastic artworks will have a budget of up to $6,000 and the sculptural works will have a budget of up to $30,000 (including concept development). The project is funded by the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure’s ‘Residents Win’ grants program and is an initiative of Westside BUG.
