Volunteering

Volunteering - 01Our Volunteers contirbute to a vibrant community life. They encourage community independence and improve the quality of life of the community.

There are a number of activities that can be enjoyed when you become a Council volunteer.

  • Friendly visiting, bus driving, shopping and transport assistance.
  • Helping at special events, open days and displays.
  • Assisting at Libraries and Community Centre activities, programs and administration.
  • Youth Services programs.
  • Graffitti removal.
  • Gardening.
  • Environmental projects.
  • Animal management.

This is just a taste of some of the activities you could get involved in.

Please note that Volunteers can only be registered where a vacancy exists and the when their application has been successful.

Register online to confirm your interest in becoming a volunteer with the City of Charles Sturt. Please note: You will be asked to create a user name and password.
