Guitars in Bars - Registrations Now Open


Exclusive opportunity for City of Charles Sturt Businesses and musicians (guitarists)

City of Charles Sturt will pay the registration fee for the first 50 local events/musicians or venues to register for Guitars in Bars and Other Places event, 13-29 July!

After registering your event, the Guitar Festival will be in touch to let you know if you are successful for this opportunity.


Are you an event/musician without a venue?
Any venue can take part in Guitars In Bars, but if you’re an artist seeking somewhere new to present your event you can view the directory of interested and available venues here.

Please register your interest in joining the venue directory here.

Why would I want to be involved?

Your event will be included in the statewide Guitar Festival marketing campaign, including the Guitars in Bars website, fold out program, electronic email and social media.

Adelaide Fringe in Charles Sturt - February-March

The Adelaide Fringe is a premiere arts festival that completely takes over Adelaide, her surrounding suburbs and even some regional areas of South Australia for 31 magical days and nights each year. The city practically pulses with creativity.

Venues big and small, pop-up and permanent house thousands of artists from all over Adelaide, Australia and the world. Around most of Adelaide’s corners, whether in an alleyway, a tent, a pub, a laundromat or an abandoned hospital for the criminally insane, you’ll be bound to find Fringe goodness in some shape or form.

SALA Festival - August

August is visual art month in South Australia! Since its inception in 1998 the annual SALA Festival has celebrated and promoted the diverse talents of South Australian Living Artists.

SALA is an innovative open access visual arts festival presenting thousands of artists through unique collaborations and exhibitions in hundreds of exhibition spaces throughout metropolitan and regional South Australia.

The SALA Festival is a truly unique state wide celebration of the visual arts.
