Recycle Old Batteries

Normal dry cell batteries are not considered hazardous and can be disposed of in your blue-lidded household rubbish bin, which is collected each week.

Rechargeable batteries contain a range of hazardous substances, and are not suitable to go into any of your kerbside bins.
