At the City of Charles Sturt we have introduced ourselves to the community by saying hello, and now it is the community’s turn to do the same!
A simple “Hello” can make a lasting impression, but also creates greater connections within our community.
As part of World Hello Day celebrations, the City of Charles Sturt have launched free postcards that will be available online as well as in Council locations, such as our libraries, community centres and the Civic Centre for the more traditional form of communication that can be forgotten in the digital age.
These postcards can be used for a range of purposes:
World Hello Day started in 1973, following the end of a conflict between Egypt and Israel. Since then, World Hello Day has been used as a day of opportunity for people around the world to promote world peace and it is celebrated in 180 countries.
